Irini Mavrou was born in Athens. She started piano lessons in Thessaloniki and studied with Katerina Asteriadou at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki. She graduated from the piano class of Domna Eunuchidou and continued her piano studies at postgraduate level at the University of Music and Dramatic Art in Graz, Austria, with O. Niederdorfer and H. Weber, while also obtaining the Degree in Music Education.
She is a graduate of the Department of Music Studies of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has been awarded in the piano competition of Northern Greece of SAOTH.
She is one of the most active musicians of her generation, choosing innovative approaches and inter-artistic presentations, bridging the piano act with acting, visual arts and literature, such as the performances Waves of Dreams, The Pain of Love and Love and Loss.



An experienced and innovative photographer, bringing forth a true passion for capturing ligfe’s moments though her lens.
Commited to the personal satisfaction of her personal eye, but also her client’s, she makes sure to adopt accrdingly to technology without loosing her touch. Bringing over 15 years of experience working as a freelance photographer on over 1000 projects – highlight among them as a TEDx speaker. Carrying a background in several aspects of photography, she has dedicated herself to her passion, Photography.
